Turkey (Turkey News): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a telephone conversation with Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara, stated that the complete eradication of terrorism in Syria is essential not only for the Syrian people but also for peace and stability across the region.
According to Burhaneddin Duran, Head of the Turkish Presidential Department of Communications, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey’s support to Syria—including efforts against terrorism and assistance in other sectors—will continue to increase steadily.
The discussion also covered bilateral relations and recent developments in Syria. Erdogan highlighted that Turkey places the highest importance on Syria’s territorial integrity, unity, coordination, stability, and security.
