Baku (Turkey News): Parliamentary democracy development issues hold special importance in cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia.
The First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, Ali Ahmadov, speaking at the 24th meeting of the Parliamentary Cooperation Commission between the National Assembly of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, stated that discussions are ongoing on the prospects for enhancing cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries.
He said that strengthening parliamentary relations and exchanging experiences increases the effectiveness of the legislative process and provides new opportunities to further expand cooperation between the two countries.
Ali Ahmadov expressed hope that the outcomes of this meeting will play an important role in further expanding mutual relations between the parliaments and in strengthening an environment of mutual trust and understanding.
