Peshawar (Turkiya News) — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have intensified operations against illegal Afghan refugees across the province. During raids in Peshawar’s Afghan Colony, Board Bazaar, and Nasir Bagh areas, more than 50 illegal Afghan residents were arrested within 24 hours.
Police stated that FIRs will be filed against property owners who rent houses to Afghan refugees. Special teams have been formed to carry out the crackdown, and these operations are ongoing across the district under the supervision of the SSP Operations.
Additionally, data has been collected to verify Afghan refugees applying for Pakistani identity cards, aiming to ensure effective control over illegal activities.
