Body of Student Who Drowned in Araz River Canal Recovered in Imishli

Baku (Turkey News): The body of a 11th-grade student who drowned in the Araz River in the Imishli district has been recovered.

According to sources, the body of the student, born in 2009, was found this morning during a search operation a few hundred meters away from the accident site.

The body was retrieved from the river and handed over to the relevant authorities for medical and legal examination.

Officials said that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.

It is worth mentioning that the student had drowned on June 7 near Rasululu village in the Imishli region, after which rescue operations were launched. Rescue and diving teams also participated in the search efforts.
