Islamabad (Turkiye News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a message on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, paid tribute to his national, political, and constitutional contributions.
The Prime Minister stated that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto rendered remarkable services with sincerity for the country’s development, prosperity, and strong defense during his tenure, and also played a key role in the drafting and approval of the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.
He added that the 1973 Constitution holds fundamental importance for the stability of the parliamentary system and the promotion of democracy in the country, while Bhutto also took significant steps to promote people-centric governance and address public issues.
Shehbaz Sharif further said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto effectively represented Pakistan on the global stage, and his political services will always be remembered. He also prayed for the elevation of the late leader’s ranks.
