Baku (Commerce Desk): Baku Metro CJSC reported that in 2025, its services for 227 million passengers prevented 430,000 tons of CO₂ emissions in the city.
According to the company, this amount is equivalent to the CO₂ absorbed by 20 million trees in a year, or the same emissions produced by 100,000 cars in the city.
These figures highlight Baku Metro’s environmental impact reduction efforts and emphasize the importance of eco-friendly urban transportation initiatives.
