Sofia (Sports Desk): Azerbaijan’s ice dance pair Samanta Ritter and Daniel Barkalov delivered an impressive performance to claim the bronze medal at an international figure skating tournament held in Bulgaria, the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation has confirmed.
The competition was part of the Sofia Trophy, hosted in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, and featured 11 ice dance pairs from different countries.
According to the final results, Ritter and Barkalov scored a total of 171.75 points, securing third place and bringing home the bronze medal for Azerbaijan.
Their achievement is being described as an important milestone in the promotion and development of winter sports in Azerbaijan.
