Baku (Turkey News ) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting in Gabala with a high-level delegation led by UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri.
According to the Azerbaijani state news agency AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev said that relations between the two countries, based on a strategic partnership, are successfully progressing in all fields.
He referred to his friendly ties and mutual visits with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saying that these relations have played an important role in further expanding bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on further strengthening economic, diplomatic, and strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE delegation conveyed the best wishes of the Emirati leadership to President Ilham Aliyev, upon which the Azerbaijani President expressed gratitude and extended reciprocal goodwill sentiments.
