Baku (Turkey Khabar) Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Switzerland’s Deputy Foreign Minister Pierre-Yves Fux, during which discussions were held on bilateral relations and the promotion of mutual cooperation. During the meeting in Baku, opportunities for cooperation in political dialogue, trade and economic ties, energy, transport, and other shared sectors between the two countries were reviewed.
The two sides also discussed ongoing activities within international organizations and platforms, as well as Switzerland’s plans in the context of its current OSCE chairmanship. Detailed exchanges were also held on regional and global security issues, the post-conflict situation, Azerbaijan’s peace agenda, reconstruction and development measures, and demining activities.
Both sides also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest. On the same day, another round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries was also held, in which the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, while the Swiss delegation was led by Pierre-Yves Fux.
