Azerbaijan (Showbiz Desk) — Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture, Adil Karimli, met with Italy’s Ambassador Luca Di Gianfrancesco, according to a statement from the Ministry of Culture.
Adil Karimli said that the long-term strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Italy provides a strong foundation for successful and extensive cooperation in the field of culture. During the meeting, it was noted that cultural relations between the two countries continue to grow year by year. Areas of cooperation include the preservation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage, music, theatre, fine arts education, architecture, and design.
The minister particularly highlighted the active involvement of Italian companies in Azerbaijan’s liberated areas. Ambassador Luca Di Gianfrancesco emphasized that Italy attaches great importance to cultural cooperation with Azerbaijan. He also expressed appreciation for the role of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the restoration of historical and religious heritage in Italy and the Vatican.
During the meeting, the activities of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Italy were specially praised, and both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
