Baku (Turkey News): Mojtaba Damirchi Lou, Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, said on Monday that Iran’s military strikes in the region were carried out in response to aggression and are not directed against friendly or neighboring countries.
Speaking at a press conference at the Iranian Embassy in Baku, Damirchi Lou emphasized that Iran acted under its legitimate right to self-defense from the very beginning. He stated that the attacks targeted enemy military bases in the region and were solely in response to actions against Iran.
The ambassador added that Iran is prepared to take legal measures through international organizations and has requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council.
