Angoor Adda Incident: Pakistan Army Responds to Alleged Afghan Provocation, Several Posts Destroyed

South Waziristan (Turkey News): The security situation in Angoor Adda Zallokhel area of district South Waziristan turned tense following alleged cross-border provocation from Afghanistan, prompting a swift response from the Pakistan Armed Forces.

According to security sources, timely action by the Pakistan Army successfully foiled attempts of cross-border infiltration and restored control in the affected areas.

Sources added that after the failed infiltration attempt, firing was carried out from across the border on civilian areas, resulting in injuries to three civilians, including two women. The injured were immediately shifted to Wana Hospital.

Security officials said that in response, the Pakistan Army targeted multiple hostile posts across the border, causing significant damage.

Local sources stated that following the incident, security measures in the area have been further tightened, and the situation is being closely monitored to ensure stability and peace.
