Islamabad (Turkey News): An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa, in which progress on plans to further simplify and modernize passport services was reviewed.
During the meeting, significant progress was made in the home delivery project for passports, and the new procedure has been finalized. Under this initiative, it has been decided to introduce a service for citizens to receive passports at their doorstep.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the digital system and mobile application of Immigration and Passports. Emphasis was placed on further improving the online application process, tracking system, and digital payment mechanism.
The Director General stated that providing maximum facilities to citizens at their doorstep is the department’s priority, and that passport services are being made more efficient and transparent through modern technology.
He reaffirmed that all possible measures will continue to be taken to ensure fast, easy, and transparent service delivery to the public.
