Cairo (Showbiz Desk): Hollywood actress and former UN Special Envoy Angelina Jolie visited the Egyptian side of the Rafah Crossing amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. She met with Red Crescent staff and truck drivers delivering aid, reviewing the distribution of humanitarian supplies.
Jolie was accompanied by a U.S. State Department representative, the Governor of North Sinai, and Egypt’s Minister of Immigration to support international relief efforts and ensure the smooth delivery of aid.
Known for her humanitarian initiatives worldwide, Jolie has previously participated in similar missions across the globe.
Gaza’s residents are facing severe hardships due to a two-year-long conflict along the Israel border, which has claimed over 70,000 lives, mostly civilians, and caused extensive destruction to critical infrastructure.
