Adana (Turkey News): The 10th Heavy Criminal Court of Adana has admitted a new expert report in a building-related case.
The case involves construction engineer Abdullah Y, former Seyhan Municipality construction director Alim E, deputy director Sattare K, member of the Housing Commission Kan M E, office staff Abdullah S, architect Fatush S, construction engineer Fson J, and electrical engineer Halil V, all currently on trial without custody.
The new 68-page report was prepared by six experts from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Construction Engineering, Konya Technical University. It examines the building’s architectural and structural plans, foundational soil analysis, and structural calculations.
The report states that the number of building floors matches the approved plan; however, analysis of planning documents and Google Earth images revealed discrepancies in the placement and size of some columns.
