Baku (Turkey News) – From 8:00 AM on 28 February to 10:00 AM on 10 March, a total of 2,097 people were safely transferred from Iran to Azerbaijan, including 365 Azerbaijani citizens.
During this period, citizens from various countries were also repatriated:

- Russia: 292
- Tajikistan: 174
- Pakistan: 137
- Oman: 57
- Italy: 44
- Indonesia: 32
- Iran: 29
- Spain: 26
- Saudi Arabia: 18
- Japan: 17
- France and Germany: 16 each
- Georgia: 13
- Uzbekistan, Hungary, Poland: 12 each
- Mexico: 11
- Nigeria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Congo: 10 each
- United Kingdom: 9
- Brazil, Kazakhstan, Canada: 8 each
- UAE, Slovakia, Belgium, Romania: 6 each
- Serbia, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Afghanistan, Austria: 5 each
- Jordan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Bahrain: 4 each
- Qatar, Philippines, Croatia, Finland: 3 each
- Nepal, Lebanon, India, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, Sudan, Cyprus, USA, Slovenia: 2 each
- Tunisia, South Africa, Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Lithuania, Egypt, Australia, Belize: 1 each
All individuals completed the necessary safety and medical procedures before crossing the border into Azerbaijan. At the Astara border checkpoint, full arrangements were made to ensure a secure and comfortable passage. The repatriation process was carried out in phases throughout the day, strictly following relevant laws and safety regulations.
