Azerbaijan entrance exams held, over 51,000 candidates participate

Baku (Turkey News) Entrance examinations for the I and IV specialization groups were conducted under the State Examination Center (DİM) of Azerbaijan.

According to the Azerbaijan News Agency, the exams were held simultaneously in various cities and regions of the country, including Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Shaki, Lankaran, and other areas.

A total of 212 examination buildings and 3,803 examination halls were allocated for the exams. Thousands of staff, including supervisors, administrative personnel, and security officials, were deployed to oversee the process.

Officials said that a central control room was also established to monitor the examination process, maintaining continuous contact with different locations.

According to initial reports, 10 candidates were disqualified after mobile phones were recovered from them, while a supervising teacher was also removed from duty after a smartwatch was found in their possession.

Overall, 51,690 candidates were expected to participate, and the examinations were completed in accordance with rules and regulations.
