Azerbaijan (Turkish News): A special allowance has been established for the families of demolition personnel who are killed or injured in accidents involving explosives or hazardous materials during their duties.
According to the news agency report, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree specifying the allowance, which is set at 700 manats per month.
The allowance will be provided to the following family members of the affected personnel and distributed equally according to the number of eligible family members: widows or widowers, parents; children under 18 (or those in professional, secondary, or higher education until completion, but not exceeding 23 years), or children over 18 with disabilities; siblings living with orphaned children; and, if none of the above exist, grandparents.
The allowance will be paid from the state budget allocated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. This benefit also applies to families of personnel who suffered accidents prior to the enactment of the decree, as well as for all subsequent relevant cases.
