Washington (Monitoring Desk): The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it is targeting Iranian military infrastructure, aiming to destroy facilities that have posed regional threats for decades.
According to CENTCOM, U.S. forces are conducting operations to weaken Iran’s military capabilities and infrastructure, which is expected to reduce threats to U.S. forces and regional partners.
Earlier, CENTCOM reported that A-10 Thunderbolt fighter jets carried out strikes against the Iranian navy. Since the start of the conflict, U.S. forces have conducted thousands of air missions and targeted over 9,000 sites.
Experts warn that these operations could have long-term impacts on regional security and the global political landscape.
