Paris (Monitoring Desk): High-level talks between Israel and Syria have taken a major step forward in Paris under the mediation of the United States, a development jointly confirmed by all three countries in an official statement. The meeting was held under US President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace vision.
According to the joint statement, the discussions focused on respecting Syria’s sovereignty and regional stability, while also ensuring Israel’s security and exploring future prospects of cooperation and prosperity between the two nations.
Both sides agreed to move towards joint arrangements aimed at achieving long-term security and sustainable regional stability. As part of these efforts, a US-supervised Joint Coordination Center will be established to facilitate intelligence sharing, reduce military tensions, and enhance diplomatic engagement.
Washington welcomed the progress and reaffirmed that the United States will continue to fully support the implementation of these agreements as part of its ongoing diplomatic efforts to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East.
