Washington (Monitoring Desk) The United States has stepped up efforts to reduce tensions between Russia and Ukraine and accelerate peace initiatives. U.S. Special Envoy Stuart Koch and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner met with Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev to discuss the ongoing conflict.
Following the meeting, Russia’s representative to President Putin described the talks as constructive, stating that the world is increasingly understanding Russia’s position on Ukraine and that a potential peace agreement is under consideration.
According to sources, following this high-level meeting, Russia handed over 37 alleged criminals to the U.S., as part of ongoing bilateral cooperation.
