Ankara (Turkey News): A spokesperson for the presidential office has expressed deep sorrow over the personnel martyred in a helicopter crash during training activities of the Qatar-Turkey Joint Force.
Presidential spokesperson Burhanettin Duran shared the message on his NSosyal account, stating that the incident occurred during training exercises under the Qatar-Turkey Joint Force Command.
In his statement, he said that a helicopter belonging to the Qatari armed forces crashed into the sea due to a technical fault. As a result, one member of the Turkish Armed Forces, two personnel from ASELSAN, and four members of the Qatari armed forces were martyred.
He prayed for mercy upon the martyrs and extended heartfelt condolences to their families, the Turkish Armed Forces, ASELSAN, and the people of Qatar. He also conveyed his deep sympathies to the nation.
