Washington (Monitoring Desk): U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a clear roadmap regarding Venezuelan oil, under which 30 to 50 million barrels of oil will be transferred to the United States through an interim authority.
According to President Trump, the oil will be brought to the U.S. under sanctions and transported to American ports via storage ships. He added that the oil will be sold in the market, with the revenue remaining under their control.
Trump has instructed Energy Secretary Chris Wright to implement the plan immediately. U.S. officials stated that diplomacy remains the priority, though measures to maintain pressure will continue.
