Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump has informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he would support Israeli strikes against Iran’s ballistic missile program if negotiations between the US and Iran fail.
Sources say this option was discussed during a meeting at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida last December. US military and intelligence officials have begun internal consultations to provide Israel with aircraft refueling and other logistical support.
Netanyahu stated that any potential agreement must include the complete dismantling of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and limit the range of its ballistic missiles to 300 kilometers, while the primary objective should be to neutralize Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
