Washington (Monitoring Desk):U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that a substantial military force is being deployed toward Iran. He stated that Tehran’s activities are under close surveillance and that a 25% tariff will soon be imposed on any party trading with Iran.
According to U.S. officials, the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, destroyers, and fighter jets have been dispatched from the Asia-Pacific region to the Middle East.
While President Trump expressed hope to avoid a new military confrontation, the measures come amid heightened tensions and government crackdowns on protests in Iran. Last year, in June 2025, the U.S. carried out an airstrike related to Iran’s nuclear program. Trump emphasized in the interview that if Iran attempts nuclear work again, the U.S. will take immediate action.
