Baku (Turkiye Khabar) Although pedestrian-related traffic accidents have recorded a decline compared to last year, the need for further precautionary measures in this area has been described as important.
For this purpose, a special traffic safety campaign titled “Pedestrians, Be Careful!” is being conducted nationwide until June 22.
According to the State Traffic Police Department, during this campaign, not only will monitoring and preventive measures be taken to curb violations of traffic rules by pedestrians, but special activities will also be carried out to raise public awareness and consciousness.
Traffic police have appealed to citizens to exercise special caution on the roads and strictly follow traffic rules. They have also requested media outlets and other social institutions to cooperate in making this campaign successful.
