Islamabad (Turkiye News) – President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces over successful counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency, the President appreciated the effective operations against terrorists in Mastung, Noshki, Zehri, Khuzdar, and Kech, during which 17 terrorists were killed. He said that eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country remains a top priority.
He added that the malicious designs of “Fitna-e-Hindustan” and its facilitators will never succeed, and that the state will continue strong operations against terrorism.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also praised the professionalism and bravery of the security forces involved in counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan.
He said that every conspiracy against Pakistan’s peace, stability, and development will be foiled, and the sacrifices of security institutions for peace in the country are highly valued.
The Prime Minister congratulated the security forces on the killing of 17 terrorists and said that the nation stands with its armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
