Azerbaijan (Turkey News): The State Financial Monitoring Authority in Azerbaijan has significantly increased its activities over the past few years to make the system of public financial governance more effective and stronger.
According to officials, audits conducted to ensure transparent and efficient use of budget funds, along with the recommendations issued on them, have improved financial discipline, while risks in various sectors have been reduced and administrative performance has shown improvement.
The authority stated that the promotion of digital systems, the use of analytical methods, and the improvement of audit standards have been included among its key priorities, which has strengthened the environment of transparency and accountability in the public sector.
Officials further said that these reforms are not only helping to place the financial system on modern lines but are also ensuring better administrative performance in state institutions and the proper use of resources.
