Agenda Issued for Azerbaijan Parliament’s June 12 Session; Key Bills to Be Considered

Baku (Turkey News): The agenda for the extraordinary session of Azerbaijan’s National Assembly scheduled for June 12 has been released.

According to the state news agency, the session will consider various important legislative drafts and amendments, comprising a total of 10 agenda items.

The agenda includes the first-stage discussion of the implementation report of the 2025 state budget. A draft proposal for joining an international convention on marine pollution will also be reviewed.

It further includes legislation related to the establishment of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Lisbon, along with amendments to several laws concerning land leasing, land markets, privatization, and the management of municipal lands.

In addition, amendments related to Shusha city’s status as a cultural capital, changes to the law on the protection of green areas, and revisions to the code on administrative offenses are also part of the agenda.

Changes to the law on public service will also be discussed during the session.

Parliamentary sources say the session is considered important in terms of reforms in the country’s legal and administrative framework.
