Selçuk Bayraktar’s Global Appeal: Call for the Establishment of a “Technological Solidarity Alliance”

Istanbul (Turkey News) Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer of the well-known Turkish defense company Baykar, has said that allied and developing countries should form a “Technological Solidarity Alliance” in order to counter the growing influence of global technology monopolies.

While addressing the SAHA 2026 international defense and aerospace exhibition, he warned that global-scale monopolization of technology by a few powerful entities is increasingly becoming a threat to national sovereignty, privacy, and human freedom.

He said that the world is currently standing not only at a technological turning point but also at a moral one, and it is essential that future technology be built on the principles of justice, ethics, and human dignity.

According to Selçuk Bayraktar, “We are not just present at an exhibition where metal and software are being displayed, but we are gathered at one of the most important technological and ethical crossroads of the 21st century, where the protection of human freedom and dignity is being considered.” Selçuk Bayraktar

The exhibition is being held at the Istanbul Expo Center under the organization of SAHA Istanbul, while the Anadolu Agency is serving as the global coordinator.
