Syria (Monitoring Desk): Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Syria and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian state. In its statement, Saudi Arabia described the development as an important step toward achieving peace and stability in Syria, while also commending the efforts made by the United States in reaching the agreement.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Kingdom hopes that the agreement will contribute to strengthening state institutions, enforcing the rule of law, and enhancing overall stability, paving the way for the development and prosperity of the Syrian people.
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its full support and cooperation with the Syrian government, stating that it will continue to back all efforts aimed at promoting social peace, safeguarding Syria’s sovereignty, and preserving its territorial integrity.
