Baku (Turkey News): More than 21,000 participants have registered so far for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, according to officials.
This was stated during a media briefing session held for journalists under the forum, by the head of materials and media relations at the Azerbaijan operational company.
He said that registration for media representatives is still ongoing, and over 800 journalists have already been accredited. More than 70 percent of them are from local media organizations.
Organizers said the large number of participants reflects growing global interest in urban development and planning issues, while the strong media presence further highlights the importance of the event on an international level.
