Lahore (Turkiya News): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the immediate completion of new hospitals across the province, including the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and the Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Institute in Sargodha, among other key healthcare facilities.
The CM instructed that the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and Jinnah Cardiology Institute in Lahore be opened to the public within this month. The construction of the basement and ground floor of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research has been completed, with waiting areas, a mosque, and doctors’ residences also ready for use.
The institute, Pakistan’s first Nawaz Sharif Cancer Treatment and Research Center, is scheduled to be inaugurated this month, and recruitment of doctors and professional staff has already begun.
Additionally, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered the expedited completion of Lady Willingdon Hospital, ensuring that every cancer patient from across Pakistan can receive high-quality treatment at the Nawaz Sharif Institute.
