Azerbaijan (Turkey News): Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev met with Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders, in Abu Dhabi. According to reports, Abdelsalam recalled Azerbaijan’s visits and meetings with the President as heartfelt and memorable moments. He also congratulated President Aliyev once again on receiving the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.
President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the award and appreciated the efforts of the Zayed Foundation, highlighting the significant role of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates, in promoting humanitarian values and legacy.
The report also noted that President Aliyev’s recognition reflects high acknowledgment for his efforts in promoting peace, alongside the support of Pope Francis and Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb.
