Baku (Turkiye News) — At the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Pakistan presented its major riverfront city project and invited international investors for cooperation.
Fatima Ali Khan, Director Special Initiatives, CSR and Diversity at the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), Punjab Government, said that the Pakistani delegation is showcasing the world’s largest riverside city project.
She said the project spans an area of 46 kilometers along both banks of the river and is Pakistan’s largest real estate project. According to her, it is a flagship project of the Punjab government under the patronage of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Fatima Ali Khan added that the project includes hospitals, universities, schools, hotels, basic infrastructure, wastewater treatment plants, resorts, parks, and even an airport.
She appealed to global investors to partner in this major development project so that a world-class city based on modern urban facilities can be established.
