Rawalpindi (Turkey News): According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, Commander of the Azerbaijan Navy, visited the Naval Headquarters in Pakistan, where both countries agreed to further strengthen naval cooperation.
During the visit, the Azerbaijan Navy Commander met with Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Pakistan Navy, to discuss regional maritime security and defense collaboration. Pakistan Navy personnel presented a Guard of Honour to the distinguished guest, and the Azerbaijan Navy Commander laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument.
The discussions also covered opportunities to enhance cooperation in training and defense sectors, and the Azerbaijani delegation was briefed on ongoing projects of the Pakistan Navy.
According to ISPR, this visit by the Commander of the Azerbaijan Navy will further strengthen the brotherly ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and holds significance for bilateral naval cooperation.
