Islamabad (Turkey News) – The Foreign Office has expressed deep concern over the renewed escalation of tensions in Yemen, stating that Pakistan strongly opposes any unilateral actions by any party that could further aggravate the situation. Pakistan fully supports Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity and endorses efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability in the country.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andarabi said that Pakistan has welcomed regional measures to reduce tensions and maintain peace in Yemen. During this, Pakistan reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reiterated its commitment to the security of the Kingdom. Pakistan strongly supports a negotiation- and diplomacy-based process to resolve the Yemen issue and hopes that the Yemeni people and regional powers will work together toward a comprehensive and sustainable solution.
