Islamabad / Beijing (Turkey News): During the seventh Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue, both countries agreed to enhance mutual support, enforce a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, and further strengthen bilateral security cooperation.
According to a statement from the Foreign Office, the dialogue in Beijing was co-chaired by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The joint communiqué emphasized the importance of United Nations resolutions for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue.
Pakistan reiterated its full support for China on matters related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong, and the South China Sea, under its One-China policy. In return, China affirmed its commitment to Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and counterterrorism efforts.
The dialogue also announced plans to celebrate 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship, aimed at strengthening intergenerational ties and promoting cooperation across multiple sectors. Both countries were described as strong strategic partners and trusted friends on the global stage.
