New York (Turkey News): At the United Nations, Pakistan described the Palestinian issue as the primary cause of instability in the Middle East and condemned the ongoing war, forced displacement, and destruction in Gaza as unacceptable.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Asim Iftikhar, addressing the Security Council, said that violations of the ceasefire in Gaza are deeply concerning and targeting innocent civilians constitutes a clear breach of international law.
He strongly condemned attacks on UN facilities and UNRWA and emphasized that full implementation of the peace plan under Security Council Resolution 2803 is essential.
