Lahore (Turkey News) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a comprehensive audit of all fire safety systems across the province following the recent fire at Karachi’s Gul Plaza.
In a statement, Nawaz said new SOPs will be developed, and fire safety systems will be strengthened. She emphasized that, due to concerns over short circuits, both government and private buildings will undergo thorough inspections to prevent potential fire hazards.
The Chief Minister added that safety measures will be enforced in government offices, hospitals, schools, and private institutions, ensuring effective preparedness against fire-related risks.
