Tehran/Baghdad: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed the launch of the 48th wave of ["operation","Operation Waada-e-Sadiq 4"], targeting ["country","United States"] and entity["country","Israel"] assets.
According to a spokesperson for the Guards, key locations of Israeli leaders and three U.S. military sites in the region were targeted using missiles and drones.
Iranian media reported that a suicide drone struck the air defense system of the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, while U.S. media confirmed a missile attack on the embassy compound’s helipad, observing smoke rising from the site.
Additionally, U.S. reports indicated multiple explosions at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, further heightening tensions in the region.
