Islamabad (Turkey News) In connection with the second round of negotiations with the United States, an Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad.
According to the Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Asim Munir received the delegation. On this occasion, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi were also present.
According to sources, during his visit to Pakistan, the Iranian Foreign Minister will meet with the top leadership, where discussions will be held on the latest regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability.
Abbas Araghchi will also visit Muscat and Moscow in the next phase of his tour. In a previous statement, he said that strengthening ties with neighboring countries is being prioritized, and the purpose of the visit is to enhance bilateral relations and consult on regional developments.
Meanwhile, US officials have also confirmed that an American delegation will arrive in Pakistan on Saturday to participate in the negotiations.
