Iranian Attacks Cause Widespread Destruction in Israel; 10 Killed, 180 Injured

Tel Aviv (Monitoring Desk): Iran launched fresh missile attacks on Israel, causing significant damage across southern and central regions of the country. Israeli and U.S. defense systems reportedly failed to intercept the missiles.

Reports indicate that explosions and falling debris caused widespread destruction, with cluster munitions adding to the damage. So far, 10 people have been killed and 180 injured. Affected areas include Tel AvivIsrael"], entity["city","Eilat","Israel"], entity["city","Beersheba","Israel"], entity["city","Dimona","Israel"], and Arad a joint U.S.-Israel operation, a transmitter at the Persian Gulf Central Broadcasting Company in Iran’s southern port city of Bandar Abbas was targeted, resulting in one death and one injury, though broadcasting continues. The Israeli military claimed to have targeted Iranian military sites involved in weapons production and storage, while Tehran activated its air defense systems.

Additionally, in Iraq, the armed group Ashab al-Kahf carried out a drone attack on the office of Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, in northern Erbil. Intense shelling and ground clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon’s Naqoura town have further escalated tensions along the border region.
