Pyongyang (Monitoring Desk) North Korea has made it clear that it has no intention of rejoining the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and will continue its nuclear weapons program.
According to North Korean state media, the government stated that the country will not accept any international pressure regarding its defense policy and nuclear program.
The official news agency reported that Pyongyang does not consider itself bound by any conditions or obligations related to the NPT and remains fully committed to its defense strategy.
