Iran Warns of Strong Retaliation if U.S. Targets Its Energy Facilities

Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Amid rising tensions between Iran and Washington, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning, stating that if the U.S. acts on threats to target Iran’s energy facilities, the Strait of Hormuz will be fully closed.

In its statement, the IRGC said that if threats from former U.S. President Donald Trump to target Iranian energy installations are carried out, Iran will respond decisively.

The Iranian force further clarified that in the event of any attack, it would target energy facilities in countries hosting U.S. bases and those with American stakes, with the intention of completely disabling them. The IRGC emphasized that Iran will take all necessary measures to protect itself and will not tolerate any aggression.
