Iran Under Continued US-Israeli Attacks as War Enters 31st Day

Tehran, Washington, Riyadh (Monitoring Desk) – The ongoing war against Iran by the United States and Israel has entered its 31st day, with fresh attacks and counterattacks further escalating tensions across the region.

According to Iranian state media, US and Israeli forces targeted a petrochemical plant in Tabriz, damaging one of its units. Rescue teams rushed to the scene, while authorities confirmed that no toxic or hazardous gas was released.

The impact of the strikes was also felt in the capital Tehran and the city of Karaj, where power outages were reported in several areas.

Meanwhile, Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes forced the postponement of a session of the Israeli parliament (Knesset), heightening security concerns within Israel.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards confirmed the martyrdom of their Navy Commander, Ali Reza Tangsiri, who succumbed to injuries sustained in Israeli attacks.

Reports indicate that the death toll in Iran from US and Israeli strikes has reached 2,076, including 216 children and 250 students and teachers, while more than 26,500 people have been injured. Over 500 facilities, including medical, educational, and administrative institutions, have also been destroyed.

In Lebanon, Israeli air and ground attacks continue, with the death toll surpassing 1,100, thousands injured, and hundreds of thousands displaced.

According to Israel’s Ministry of Health, more than 6,000 Israelis have been injured in Iranian attacks since the start of the war, including 121 in critical condition, while an additional 232 were injured in the past 24 hours. The death toll in Israel has exceeded 20.

The current situation has pushed the Middle East to the brink of a major humanitarian and security crisis, with increasing calls from the international community for an immediate ceasefire.
