Iran Targets US Embassy in Riyadh Amid Rising Tensions with Israel and the US

Tehran (Monitoring Desk) — Tensions between Iran and the U.S. and Israel continue to escalate. During recent attacks, the U.S. Embassy Riyadh was targeted, while attempts on U.S. bases in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain are also ongoing.

The Israeli military announced on Tuesday that its air force will continue striking Iranian missile launch platforms and is simultaneously carrying out operations in Tehran and Beirut. The objective is to prevent Iran from activating air defenses against fighter jets.

Near Riyadh, the Saudi Ministry of Defense destroyed eight drones, including two targeting the U.S. embassy, which caused minor fires and limited damage to the building. According to Saudi Army spokesperson General Turki al-Maliki, civilians have been advised to stay indoors, and visits to military installations have been restricted.

The U.S. Department of State has instructed its citizens to leave 14 Middle Eastern countries immediately, including Israel, occupied Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
