Baku (Turkey News) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said that seeing the national flag raised at international competitions is a source of pride and happiness for the entire nation.
In a message posted on his social media platform X, President Aliyev said that every time Azerbaijan’s flag is raised on the global stage, the whole nation feels proud.
He further stated that Azerbaijani wrestlers have once again proven their dominance in Europe and their ability to achieve outstanding positions.
The statement comes in the context of sporting achievements, particularly Azerbaijan’s strong performance in wrestling at the European level.
