Mexico (Turkiye News) Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Seemur Fataliyev, has presented his credentials to the President of Peru, José María Balcázar Zelada.
According to the Azerbaijan News Agency, during the meeting the ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the President of Peru.
The President of Peru expressed goodwill on the occasion and also sent his own greetings and best wishes to the President of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation in international organizations, as well as opportunities to enhance collaboration in economic, trade, energy, tourism, and other sectors.
Both parties also expressed satisfaction that 30 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries are being completed and agreed to mark the occasion in a positive manner.
Peru’s Foreign Minister Carlos José Pareja Ríos was also present at the ceremony.
It is worth noting that Ambassador Seemur Fataliyev had also submitted copies of his credentials to the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 11, where he presented the documents to the Head of Protocol and Formal Affairs.
