Headline: Azerbaijani President Meets Israeli Foreign Minister, Agrees to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Azerbaijan (Turkiya News): Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Israeli Foreign Minister Gadiyon Saar in Baku on Monday to discuss ways to further enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting focused on economic and trade relations, energy, tourism, and cooperation in other sectors. Both sides also emphasized collaboration in agriculture, water resource management, advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence.

President Aliyev and Minister Saar agreed that mutual visits and contacts at various levels play a key role in deepening relations. They also highlighted the role of the Intergovernmental Commission, noting that its latest meeting was recently held.

Minister Saar stated that he was accompanied by representatives of major business and trade circles, and that the Azerbaijan-Israel Business Forum held during the visit will support the further development of economic and trade relations. He also thanked President Aliyev for the state-level support provided to the Jewish community in Azerbaijan.

The meeting included discussions on other mutual interest issues, with both sides referring to the recent Azerbaijan-Israel presidential meeting in Davos, during which key points of the bilateral agenda were addressed.
